Expanite commercialises an environmentally friendly, patented gas phase technology invented at the Danish Technical University (DTU). The Expanite proprietary processes allow for the surface hardening of stainless steel and other high-performance metals, while at the same time maximizing corrosion resistance. The company offers hardening as a service out one of its service centres but also has a fully digitalized solution for on premise production under a license from Expanite.
