Dirk De Boever holds a M.Sc. in Applied Economics and an advanced degree in international B2B marketing, complemented with an executive MBA from the Vlerick Management School. Dirk started his career in the early days of the commercial organization of the flat carbon steel division of the Arbed Group (now ArcelorMittal) in market research. Over the years he took on responsibilities for strategic marketing, feasibility and investment studies, business planning and support of group management in M&A transactions. He also served as quality auditor. Dirk left the Arbed Group in 2002 to join a tKMC, a marketing and business intelligence boutique as managing partner. tKMC serves large companies in telecom, energy, fmcg and industry. In 2006, Dirk supported OCAS in the start-up of its first spin-off company. Two years later, Dirk joined OCAS Ventures, as managing partner to build and manage a portfolio of innovative and material related companies for Finindus. In July 2013 Dirk was appointed Head of Investments of Finindus.

Hans has been working as an investment director for Finindus since 2013. With a passion for technology and entrepreneurs, he is actively scouting for interesting investment opportunities in the key focus areas of Finindus and is assuming active board member roles post investment in Finindus’ portfolio companies. Through his network within ArcelorMittal he connects relevant technology companies with the right people within the world’s largest steel group. Prior to joining Finindus, Hans was a CEO of a green-field start-up himself, and this after spending part of his career within the financial services (KBC Group) and the oil and gas industry (Texaco). Hans holds a master degree in chemical engineering and has completed a number of executive education programs in M&A (Insead), corporate finance (EHSAL), international management (Vlerick), coaching, corporate law and risk management
